Thank You Valley Foodies!
Thank you to the thousands of food and drink lovers who made the Idaho Food Festival Oktoberfest some Bavarian fun right here in Boise. For those of you who weren’t able to make it, stay tuned because another Idaho Food Festival will be coming soon!
Saturday’s event in downtown Boise saw a steady stream of foodies come through to enjoy not just authentic German fare and drinks. Many visitors indulged in a savory Teriyaki dish, melt-in-your-mouth barbeque, smoked turkey legs, Indian fry bread, massive burgers or a sumptuous sandwich or panini. Of course the desserts, from gelato to fried ice cream to donuts were no scherz (German for joke) either!
For many, it was all about the beverages. There was cold Pepsi and fresh lemonade, but for those who were really looking to get their Oktoberfest on, local craft beer was expertly poured by Crooked Fence Brewery. Thank you all our vendors!
And what would an Oktoberfest be without the music? Swift and Sassy rocked the Idaho Food Festival all day long.
Thanks again for joining us for Idaho Food Festival Oktoberfest and we hope you are looking forward to the next one. Stay tuned!
